Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have kept their daughter out of the public eye. More and more celebrities are choosing to do the same for their children until they’re old enough to make their own choices. However, their daughter Daisy’s first public appearance was in November 2023, when she was seen watching the finale of her mom’s residency in Las Vegas.
Katy and Orlando’s Story
Perry and Bloom started dating in 2016. One year later they broke up, but they eventually made their way back to each other, getting engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019 and having their daughter in 2020.
On Mother’s Day, Katy wrote a post on Instagram in which she expressed that the day she had her own daughter, Daisy Dove, was the first time she realized how much her mother loved her.
Katy Looks Back
The singer continued the post saying that there is nothing like a mother’s love and that it shouldn’t be taken for granted. She then concluded by wishing a happy Mother’s Day to everyone.
Perry looked back on the highlights of her pregnancy, from sharing the news with Bloom while he was filming in Prague to baby bump pictures, as well as telling Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie about it while they were on set in Hawaii for American Idol.
Unique Family Vacations
Orlando Bloom has a son named Flynn with Miranda Kerr, and the two coparent their son, who’s 12 years old. Miranda even likes to go on vacations with Katy and Orlando.
Kerr, who also shares three children with her current husband Evan Spiegel, said it felt incredible to have a sort of blended family now that she has children with Evan and Katy and Orlando have Daisy.
A Blended Family
Katy Perry has also commented on her close bond with Miranda, sharing that they are a blended, modern family and she wants to get rid of the old narrative that ex-wives and new wives can’t get along.
Katy shared that she and Miranda need and support each other, which is something that many women around the world hope for when it comes to blended families. We can’t wait to see what Katy, Orlando, and Daisy get up to next!
